Hi, I’m having problems with my computer and want my pictures that are stored on it.  I understand your photo recovery software will let me access those pictures.  However, my mouse and keyboard are not working, I even tried a different mouse and keyboard and still nothing.  Before I buy the software I want to know if I can somehow transfer the pictures to my laptop even though I have absolutely no control over my pc, since no mouse or keyboard work on it.  What can I do?

Hello,

It is possible that the mouse and keyboard may be not responding due to driver problems instead of hardware problems, and in this case Selkie will typically still work. As it doesn’t require windows settings to run, it is able to bypass any drivers having problems in Windows and attempt to use its own.

Selkie does require limited functionality with a keyboard in order to start up the file server on the problem computer. Once it is started up, you will be able to use your mouse and keyboard on your working laptop to transfer over all the files.

I would recommend first trying our demo, and see if the keyboard works with Selkie’s drivers on the problem computer with it, and if it does, then you will have no problem at all recovering your photos with the full version.

The demo is available at:
