About the Team

Our Data Analytics team is a small but growing team that is becoming more and more important to the success of our e-commerce channel. We touch all aspect of the company from production to marketing data and derive meaningful, actionable insights from the data. Our goal is to maximize customer acquisition and minimize production costs. We are responsible for ensuring Selkie continues on the correct path through careful analysis of data.

About the Role

We are looking for an Marketing Data Analyst to assist in all aspects of the company to provide meaningful insights through data-driven analysis.


  • Build Selkie's marketing plan based on data analysis of marketing to sales relation. Adjust marketing plan according based on sales data.
  • Develop Selkie's marketing budget allocation through statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Develop and test various loyalty and customer acquisition plans.
  • Measure marketing and A/B tests results, define measurements through carefully documented KPI reports.


  • 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, specifically around marketing, sales and customer acquistion
  • BS / MS in Finance, Math, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python (Pandas and Seaborn libraries), and Excel
  • Ability to derive visual and meaningful insights from big data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to create products that customers will love and appreciate
  • Fluency in English. Ability to understand and read Mandarin is a plus
